SPELLJAMMER ROCKS

SPELLJAMMER ROCKS

Dwarven Citadel, a floating chunk of rock that's slowly mined out by dwarves, sits besides its attendant "farm" asteroid, where trees and and food are grown for the mining colony.
Once the "citadel" is mined out, it's towed away, and another brought here.
Over centuries, the build up of water from the magical river on the farm and smoke and debris from the citadels, has built up a thick, breathable atmosphere in the region.
Traders come to buy the dwarves fine metal goods, and bring more food, drink, fine luxuries for the bearded folk

Space Pirates of Scro

SPACE PIRATES OF SCRO

The Scro are a race of orcs who live in the depths of space. Unlike their stupid, bestial kin who were driven from space by the vengeful Imperial Elven Navy, scro evaded the elves' wrath, and are cunning and refined...though still vicious and incredibly deadly.

Usually the Scro are regimented and honourable, but every race has its outcasts...these are scro pirates, which makes them outcasts of outcasts and thus, unholy terrors! They are officers of a ship soaked in blood and screams, and not unsprisingly, some of them have had a falling out...a fatal parting of the ways with a pistol ball to the gizzard!

But...but...what really goes on, eh? While one fellow seems bemused, lost in the depths of a fabulous array of gems...is it just pretense to avoid giving the game of assassination away or avoid blame or another pistol ball? On the other hand, what spell or poison may he have used to trigger the slaughter?
Has the captain's imp familiar cast its spell to protect its master, to enrage the killer to murder, weaken the victim or what?
Is the captain enjoying seeing a rival dead...or the sight of swift efficient death...or does he lust for the flow of fresh, seet, red blood? Well, the captain is a warlock, and who knows if he's even hungers for mortal food any more?

Ah, space pirates of Scro...not a crew you'd wish to meet!

LUNCH ON THE BRIDGE
Aboard a mind flayer Nautiloid, the illithids are having lunch...enjoying the brains of a poor slavegirl.
Heads kept shaved, wills broken, easy fodder for their overloards, one poor lass breaks down in horror at it all...but the illithids have enemies!
A madman has snuck aboard using nefarious arts, ready to attack the mind flayers on their very bridge! In his hand, a vial of liquid that's a potent, disabling irritant to illithids, but not humans.
Will the fear-crazed woman give Silverblade away? Will the wary illithid spy him...?
Various different styles for you to enjoy ;) 22-02-2008
